How to view the patient's odontogram
On this page
The patient’s Odontograma tab brings together everything recorded in their consultations: how the mouth is today, how it was at each visit, what changed from one to the next, and the full history of each tooth. It is read-only: marks are made inside a consultation (how), so what you see is always what was signed.
Before you start
- The tab appears in dental clinics: it is enough for one professional to have the Odontología or Ortodoncia specialty.
- The patient must have at least one consultation with an odontogram. If not, you will see Sin odontograma todavía and the Atender y registrar button.
The mouth today
- Open the patient and click the Odontograma tab. If the screen is narrow, look for it under Más.

- At the top you see the state of the mouth as of today: the sum of all visits, who recorded it and whether it is signed.

How it has changed
- Evolución lists each visit. Click one to see the mouth as it was that day.

- While you are looking at a past visit, a notice reminds you. Click Volver a hoy to go back.
- Turn on Comparar con la visita anterior.
- The teeth that changed are marked on the chart and listed below; tap one to see what happened.

What is still to be done
- Hallazgos sin plan shows what you found that has no planned treatment yet.
- Pendiente en el plan shows what has been planned and is still to be done.

The history of a tooth
- Tap a tooth to open its sheet.
- The sheet shows the tooth drawn, what is planned for it and every mark it has had, with date, author, codes and whether it is signed.

- Radiografías (X-rays) lists the images from their consultations tagged with that tooth, with the date, the consultation and who saw the patient, and the other teeth each one shows. Tap one to open it. The tags are set in the consultation (how).

- The Salud bucal card in the left panel summarises the COP-D index (DMFT, Res. 202 of 2021), the teeth present and when the next RIAS assessment is due (Res. 3280).

Tip
The Vista selector switches between Odontograma, Periodontograma (the patient’s periodontal charts, compared against the previous one) and Plan y presupuesto (how).
