How to add a diagnosis (ICD-10)

The diagnosis is recorded using the ICD-10 standard. It is required to close the appointment and feeds into RIPS reports and billing.

Steps

1. Within the appointment, open the Diagnosis section.
2. Type the name of the condition (for example, “hypertension”) or the code.
3. Select the ICD-10 code that matches from the list.
4. Mark whether it is primary or related, and its type (diagnostic impression, confirmed, etc.).
5. Add the diagnoses you need and save.

Tip

Search by symptom or by common name: the search finds the exact code without you having to memorize it.
