How to use AI in a course
On this page
AI helps you at five points in the course editor: the title, the description, the tags, the cover and the whole outline. All of them start from what you already wrote.
⚠️ Each action spends credits. Text costs 1 credit; a cover costs 4. With no balance the platform refuses instead of charging you.
Improve the description
- Open the course from Courses → Course Management.
- Under Description, click Generate with AI.
- Wait while AI drafts the text from the title and category.
- Read it and adjust it. It goes out under your name, so the last word is yours.
- Click Save Changes. Until you save, the text only exists on screen.
Once the description has text, the same button reads Improve with AI and rewrites what is there instead of starting over.
The button stays disabled while the course has no title: that is the only thing AI starts from.
Suggest titles
- Click the ✨ button inside the Course Title field.
- Pick one of the suggested titles.
With a description written, the suggestions are more precise.
Suggest tags
- Scroll to the Tags section.
- Click Suggest.
- Click each tag you want to add. The rest are discarded.
Generate the cover
- Scroll to the cover and click Generate with AI.
- Describe the style and the feel you want.
- Click Generate and wait.
- If the box stays blank, click Refresh URL. The image is already stored; what is missing is its link.
Save the course before trying: with no saved course, the cover says Save the course first to add a cover.
Generate the outline
- Open the Modules tab.
- Click Generate outline.
- Review the draft of modules and lessons. Nothing is saved yet.
- Click Accept and create.
The button stays disabled until the course has a title and a description. The card only appears while the course has no modules.
Tip
Describe the style, not the subject, when you ask for a cover: “flat illustration, vibrant colors, minimal” beats “nutrition course”. The title and description already travel with your text.
