How to create a medical prescription

A prescription lists the medications you prescribe to a patient. It is created within an appointment and remains in their medical record.

Steps

1. Within an appointment, go to the Prescriptions section.
2. Click Add medication.
3. Search for and select the medication.
4. Specify dose, route, frequency, and duration.
5. Repeat for each medication and add general instructions if applicable.
6. Save. When you sign the appointment, the prescription becomes official and can be printed or downloaded as PDF.

Tip

Each medication is an independent line, so you can adjust or remove one without redoing the entire prescription.
