How to update a service

A video walkthrough of this guide. Narrated in Spanish, with subtitles.

The service you created during signup has the minimum needed to book: name, duration and price. What it still lacks is the description — the text your clients read before booking.

Steps

  1. In the sidebar open Your Business → Services.
  2. On the service you want to update, press Configure.
  3. Once in the record, write the description: what it includes, how long it takes and who it is for.
  4. Press Save.

How the page is organised

A section rail sits on the left, and each entry shows its current answer — “individually 120.000 · 2 packages”, “CUPS 930101”. You can read a setting without scrolling to it.

The Save button is pinned to the bottom and names what you changed. It does not scroll away.

What else you can adjust here

  • Price and duration, if they changed since signup.
  • Session packages: several sessions for one price, in the How it is sold section. See How to sell session packages.
  • CUPS code, if you invoice electronically.
  • Health invoicing: mark the service if it is aesthetic surgery, alternative medicine, driver assessment or research. Resolución 948 de 2026 leaves those outside health invoicing when they are not publicly funded — they are still invoiced electronically, just without the health-sector data. Every service is an ordinary health service by default.
  • Requirements the client must meet before the appointment.
  • Modality: whether the service is in person only, virtual only, or either. It is not the same as the schedule: a school visit is in person whatever day it falls on. If you mark a service as in person and that day’s schedule is reserved for virtual sessions, the appointment cannot be booked.
  • Active / inactive: an inactive service stops appearing for booking.

Tip

Write the description with the question you’d answer for someone who doesn’t know you yet. It’s the first thing they read on your site and booking link.
