How to sell session packages

A package sells several sessions of one service for a price, with an expiry date. When you book, the system draws one session from the package and charges nothing.

A service can be sold individually, in packages, or both at once. You do not have to choose.

Create a package

  1. Open Your Business → Services and press Configure on the service.
  2. Go to the How it is sold section.
  3. Press Add package.
  4. Write the name. The cadence is what you sell: “1 session per week” says more than “4 sessions”.
  5. Enter the total sessions and the sessions per week.
  6. Set the price, or press Discount and type a percentage: the price fills itself in and stays editable.
  7. Adjust the validity in days. The default is 30.
  8. Press Save package.

Why the price is stored, not the discount

You charge round numbers. Four 120.000 sessions for 460.000 is a discount of 4.1666…%, which no stored percentage can express without rounding your real price away.

So the discount only fills the price, and the price is what gets stored.

One consequence: if you raise the individual price tomorrow, the package does not move. Its discount becomes a different number, and we tell you so in that same section. A price you already quoted must not change behind a family’s back.

Sell a package

  1. Open the patient’s record and press Sell package.
  2. Choose the package and press Create invoice and pay link.
  3. The Stripe link opens so the family can pay by card.

If the family pays by bank transfer, record the payment against that same invoice. The sessions appear either way.

⚠️ The sessions do not exist until the money lands. An unpaid invoice grants no sessions, by card or by transfer.

What the family sees

The service’s public page lists the plans with their saving, and a family can buy without an account. Their record is created when they pay.

When sessions are lost

Unused sessions are lost when the package expires. That is what sustains the weekly regularity, which is where the therapy works.

Cancelling a package appointment spends the session and does not return it. If you only need to move the date, reschedule: moving an appointment spends nothing.
