How to capture informed consent

An informed consent documents that the patient accepted a procedure. Start with a template, customize it and sign it.

Steps

1. In Clinical → Consent Templates, create or choose a template.
2. From the patient’s consultation, tap New consent and choose the template.
3. Review the text; you can use AI to adapt it to the case.
4. Ask the patient to sign it (or sign as responsible party).
5. Save. The consent stays in the patient’s record with its timestamp.

Tip

Create one template for each common procedure: that way you just choose it and sign, without drafting from scratch each time.
