How to schedule a package month
When a family buys a package, you do not book eight appointments one at a time. You find a slot for the first session of the week, another for the second, and the rest of the month falls on those same days and times.
Steps
- Open the patient’s record and find the package card.
- Press Schedule the month.
- Choose the professional who will see them.
- Choose the day and time of the first session of the week.
- Choose the day and time of the second. The day you already took is switched off, so two sessions of the same week cannot collide.
- Check the preview: these are the real dates, grouped by week.
- Press Schedule.
How many slots it asks for comes from the package’s sessions per week. A package with no fixed cadence books one session at a time.
Every week the same
This switch starts on. With it you pick two slots and the month builds itself: four decisions for eight sessions.
Turn it off when some week will be different — a trip, a holiday, a shift change. Each week is then adjusted on its own, and arrives pre-filled with the pattern you already chose: turning it off starts editing, not starting over.
When a slot is taken
The preview marks it amber. You have two ways out:
- Move that session to another time, without touching the rest of the month.
- Skip it. The session stays in the package unscheduled, and needs a slot before the expiry or it is lost.
The button says how many will actually be booked — “Schedule the 7”, not “Schedule”. It never books fewer than it promised without saying so.
The expiry line
A line crosses the preview showing when the package expires. Anything falling after it is marked.
A session booked after the expiry still stands: booking it already spent its session, and we do not cancel a confirmed appointment.
