How to add a medical alert

A medical alert is a highlighted warning about a patient (an allergy, a risk condition, special care) that you want to always have in sight.

Steps

1. Open Patients and enter the patient’s profile.
2. In the patient panel, click Add medical alert.
3. Write the alert (for example, “Allergic to penicillin”).
4. Save. The alert is highlighted in the patient’s context panel.

Tip

Use alerts only for what’s critical: if you mark too many things, they stop drawing attention when it really matters.
