How availability and schedules work
The slots the patient sees when booking come from each professional’s schedule and the service duration. The calendar prevents conflicts automatically.
How it’s calculated
- The calendar is enabled when the professional is chosen: each person has their own schedule.
- Only available slots are shown; a time slot that is already booked disappears for the next patient (no double booking).
- Exception days (unavailable) remain blocked.
- An exception with a special schedule shows only those slots.
Steps to configure it
- In Team Management, open the professional and define their weekly schedule.
- Add exceptions for vacations, holidays, or special schedules.
- The service duration defines how long each slot is.
Tip
Keep your exceptions up to date before vacations or conferences: it’s the way to avoid being booked when you’re not available.
